Last week, we attended the Retail Innovation Conference and Expo at McCormick Place in downtown Chicago. This year, the Retail Innovation Conference was a blend of two expos: the Design:Retail Conference and Expo and the IRCE Expo.
The expo floor was buzzing with industry leaders from both brick-and-mortar stores and eCommerce, delivering on the RICE22 mission of embracing “Where digital and physical retail connect.”
If the experiential store formats, tech-driven customer service solutions, and purpose-driven shopping experiences promoted and discussed at RICE2022 are just a taste of what to expect from the retail landscape in coming years, the future of retail looks delicious.
